Migration to USA
Fred Vap wrote to his cousin Ignac Malon back in Dolni Loucky to find him a bride. This bride, 19 year old Frances Pochop, left Dolni Loucky and traveled on the ship Kaiser Wilhelm from Bremen Germany to Ellis Island New York, arriving 26-Apr-1898. She traveled to her future in-law's home in Oklahoma. Fred traveled to Oklahoma and married her and they returned to Rawlins County to live. In the next few years, her mother and her siblings also came to the US and settled in Rawlins County.
