There he married Sally T. N. Barnes (1806-1871). Her family is traced back to Scott County Kentucky in the late 1700s. She was a child of William H. Barnes and Elizabeth Dehaven. Isaac & Sally had about 9 children in Indiana before moving to Gentry County Missouri in 1842. Their 2nd child was Hugh Barnes Teel (1826-1894), who became a Methodist minister and was a circuit rider preacher in northern Missouri. He married Permelia Ann Crowder (1827-1889) in Gentry Co. Hugh & Permelia had 10 children. John Jasper Teel (1853-1932) was their 4th child. John married Sarah Hannah Rogers (1855-1933) in Gentry Co MO. Sarah Jane "Jennie" Teel (1885-1972) was the 7th of John & Sarah's 13 children. When Jennie was 6 years old, the family moved to Sheridan County Kansas. John Teel's brother Enoch and many of Sarah Rogers Teel's siblings also migrated to Sheridan County. Jennie Teel married Charlie Barnhart in 1905 in Hoxie. 8 9 == Crowder Ancestry == 10 11 Following the Crowder line - Nelson Crowder was born in South Carolina in 1796 (from his military records). In 1801, he was "bound out as an orphan" in Blount County TN to a Robert Shields. After serving as a Tennesse Rifleman in the War of 1812, he married Susan Cogdill in Howard County Missouri in 1819. They lived for awhile in Chariton County Missouri and eventually in Daviess County MO. Permelia Ann Crowder was the 5th of their 13 children. 8 12 9 13 == Links ==
