Birth
Frank Malon was born in 1872 in Moravia to Bedrich Malon and Vincencia Vap.
Emigration
When he was 17, Frank and his younger brother Alois emigrated to the USA on board the ship Hermann. They sailed from Bremen Germany, arriving in Baltimore on 22-Aug-1889. Their 2 older sisters had emigrated to Nebraska 3 years earlier, and many Vap relatives had also emigrated in 1884 and 1886. While it is not known if they came to Nebraska or Kansas first, they eventually moved to Kay Co, OK by 1895.
