This is a detailed look at all migration records found for the Vap family, mainly the descendants and related individuals of Ignac Vap Sr and Frantiska Mazour.

| 267 | Bozena Borek | 4 mos | female | daughter | " | " |
| 268 | Karel Mazour | 22 | male | farmer | " | " |
This is Ignac Vap Jr, his wife & family, his nephew Bedrich (incorrectly marked as son), his sister Frances Vap Borek, her husband & family, and Charles Mazour. Charles was a son of Ignac Mazour - cousin to Ignac Vap Jr. There are a number of errors in ages & sex of the children. Later census records are more reliable for that information.
24-Mar-1886, Ship: Polynesia, Hamburg Germany to New York NY
| Line | Name | age | sex | Country from | destination | |
| 193 | Amalia Malon | 20 | female | single | Bohemia | Fairfield, Nebraska |
| 194 | Anna Malon | 18 | female | single | " | " |
This is Mollie & Anna Malon coming to the US bound for Fairfield Nebraska. They were daughters of Fred Malon & Vincencia Vap. They came to Deweese Nebraska where their uncle Ignac Vap Jr lived. Later that year in November, both the Malon sisters married Psikal brothers from Dorchester Nebraska.
16-May-1886, Ship information found for a departure list from Germany (I'll try to get this updated soon)
| Name | age | sex | |
| Frank Vap | 46 | male | farmer |
| Frances Vap | 37 | female | wife |
| Mary Vap | 15 | female | daughter |
| Alois Vap | 13 | male | son |
| Frances Vap | 11 | female | daughter |
| Josef Vap | 7 | male | son |
| Ignac Vap | 4 | male | son |
| Amelia Vap | 2 | female | daughter |
Family sources put the ship in the "spring of 1886", and "16-May-1886", but searches for all US ports of entry have come up empty. We have found a departure ship list from Germany, however. I'll get the information updated soon.
22-Aug-1889, Ship: Hermann, Bremen Germany to Baltimore MD
| Line | Name | age | sex | calling | Country of citizenship | destination |
| 623 | Frank Malon | 16 | male | none | Austria | Nebraska |
| 624 | Alois Malon | 14 | male | none | " | " |
This is Frank & Alois Malon, younger brothers to Mollie & Anna, and sons of Fred Malon and Vincencia Vap. They came to the US into Nebraska. Alois lived with his sister Anna for a few years before moving to Oklahoma. Frank also moved to Oklahoma about 1894.
26-Jun-1901, Ship: Barbarossa, Bremen Germany to New York NY
| Line | Name | age | sex | calling | able to read | able to write | Nationality | Last residence | final destination | |
| 22 | Frank Malon | 29 | male | married | farmer | yes | yes | citizen discharged on pier | Newkirk, OK | Arkansas City |
| 23 | Fanny Malon | 27 | female | married | none | yes | yes | " | " | " |
| 24 | Anezka Malon | 4 | female | single | none | no | no | " | " | " |
| 25 | Eliska Malon | 3 | female | single | none | no | no | " | " | " |
This is Frank Malon, his wife Fanny Vap Malon, and daughters Agnes and Alice. A passport for Frank Malon was found dated 01-Apr-1901 stating his intention to go abroad and return to the US within 6 months. They most likely went back to Moravia for a visit and this ship record was their return.
03-May-1902, Ship: Batavia, Bremen Germany to New York (Ellis Island) NY
| Line | Name | age | sex | occupation | Nationality | Last Residence | destination | joining relative/where | |
| 6 | Frank Vap | 16 | male | single | farmer | Austria | Oujezd, Moravia | Cincinnati, Ohio | Cincinnati, OH |
| 7 | Amalie Borkovec | 16 | female | single | servant | Austria | D. Loucky, Moravia | Perry, OK | Alois Malon, Ponca City, OK |
| 8 | Bozena Kvasnica | 18 | female | single | servant | Austria | D. Loucky, Moravia | Perry, OK | Alois Malon, Ponca City, OK |
This is a 16 yr old Frank Vap arriving in 1902. It says he's from Ujezde and destined for Cincinnati Ohio. He doesn't fit any of the Ignac Vap Sr. decendants, but he may have been in the Deweese area at some point in history (I thought I saw a reference to him on a farmer list during some research - but couldn't find the source again). He is on the 1910 census in Cincinnati, Ohio, and on the 1930 census in Dawson Co Nebraska and is found buried in Lexington (Dawson Co) Nebraska. It would seem he was a distant cousin and remained unmarried after he arrived. He may be a grandson of Tomas Vap.
Interesting note on the ship list is that he is listed right next to 2 girls from Dolni Loucky, Amalie Borkovec and Bozena Kvasnica. They were traveling to Perry Oklahoma. Bozena became the bride of Alois Malon in 1903, and Amalie became the bride of a Frank Sebor (a daughter of theirs will later marry Frank J. Vap III).
22-Jun-1907, Ship: Main, Bremen Germany to New York (Ellis Island) NY
| Line | Name | age | sex | occupation | Nationality | Last Residence | destination | relative in county from whence they came | |
| 2 | Franciska Vap | 17 | female | single | servant | Austria | Oujezd, Moravia | Omaha, NE | sister: Matilda Vap, Oujezd, Moravia |
This is a 17 yr old Frances Vap arriving in 1907. It says she's from Ujezde and destined for Omaha Nebraska. It lists her sister as a Matilda Vap in Ujezde. The Matilda Vap name occurs in the Tomas Vap tree, so it's possible she is connected there. Nothing more is known about her.
24-Jan-1921, Ship: Carmania, Liverpool England to New York (Ellis Island) NY
| Line | Name | age | sex | occupation | Nationality | Last Residence | relative in county from whence they came | destination | |
| 29 | Juroslav Suchanek | 20 | male | single | laborer | Czechoslovakia | Dolne, Czechoslovakia | father: Josef Suchanek, Dolne Loucky, Czechoslovakia | Apache, Oklahoma |
This is a 20 yr old Jaroslav "Jerry" Suchanek arriving in 1921. Cecilia Kvasnica tells us that he is a younger brother to Frances Suchanek (wife of Joseph Vap) and a descendant of Frank Vap Sr.'s sister back in Moravia. Jaroslav married Ludmila Kvasnica.
04-Jun-1926, Ship: George Washington, Bremen Germany to New York (Ellis Island) NY
| Line | Name | age | sex | naturalization | address in US | |
| 8 | Frank Vap | 54 | male | married | naturalized 1901, Clay Center, NE | Clay Center, NE |
| 9 | Mary Vap | 42 | female | married | naturalized by husband | " |
| 10 | Otis Vap | 1 | male | single | born in USA | " |
This is Frank Vap, his 2nd wife Mary and their child Otis (Otto). They most likely went back to Moravia for a visit and this ship record was their return (notice that they are US citizens).
Ship lists we cannot find
- ~1886 - Frank Vap, age 19. He wasn't with his father & family in 1886, or with his brother in 1884, so he must've came over separately.
- ~1900-1901 - Frances Suchanek, age 18. She arrived and became the bride of Joseph Vap
